New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) is a public benefit corporation created in 1975 under Article 8, Title 9 of the State Public Authorities Law through the reconstitution of the New York State Atomic and Space Development Authority. NYSERDA’s earliest efforts focused solely on research and development with the goal of reducing the State’s petroleum consumption. Today, NYSERDA’s aim is to help New York meet its energy goals: reducing energy consumption, promoting the use of renewable energy sources, and protecting the environment.

Altanova is a NYSERDA FlexTech Program Technical Assistant.

NYSERDA’s FlexTech program helps participating facilities to improve their productivity and economic competitiveness by identifying and encouraging the implementation of cost-effective energy efficiency,carbon emissions reduction, peak-load curtailment and combined heat & power (CHP), and renewable generation projects. As a FlexTech Technical Assistant, Altanova can assist clients to meet the program criteria to secure incentives.

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority’s (NYSERDA’s) Multifamily Performance Program is a comprehensive Program that addresses the needs of the multifamily sector by   working with Program Participants to improve the energy efficiency, health, safety, and security of  residential buildings with five (5) or more residential units.

The Program consists of the New Construction Component and the Existing Buildings Component, serving all combinations of market-rate and low- to moderate-income projects through a common process and a varying schedule of incentives.

The Program relies on a network of contractors, called Multifamily Performance Partners, who have demonstrated their ability to provide building performance services to program participants.

CLean Energy 'Pay for Performance' Program is a comprehensive energy efficiency program that provides incentives towards whole-building energy improvements.

Altanova is an approved Partner of the Pay for Performance Program. As a Partner, Altanova can assist clients to meet the program criteria to secure incentives.
