The LCA Process: 1. Analyze all energy and material inputs for your product and process. 2. Evaluate the environmental impacts of your product and process, from sourcing the raw materials through the use and disposal stages. Conduct an initial or comprehensive assessment, depending on the product characteristics and your needs. 3. Develop solutions to improve product and process. We advise your team on options to reduce environmental impacts and increase efficiencies. 4. Implement solutions to reduce environmental impacts by improving energy or material efficiency, eliminating chemicals of concern, or lowering GHG and other emissions. 5. Report and Publish a formal LCA report, Type II or Type III Environmental Production Declarations (EPD), or a Climate Declaration, to demonstrate transparency to stakeholders.
The overall purpose of a ISO 14025 Type III Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is to provide relevant, verified, and comparable information to meet various customer and market needs.
